In an effort to make this entry exciting, I say the word "stimulate" as much as possible.

So, as it turns out, in an effort to save money, we switched cable companies and got rid of the ridiculously excessive movie channel package. The move saves us about $60 a month, but in turn we don't have all the movies on demand to stimulate us anymore. (Also, no Showtime. Sad face.)

In order to actually stimulate something other than my savings account, I decided to use $100 from my stimulus check to actually stimulate the economy -- I bought this. (And re-subscribed to Netflix for $8 a month.) Ultimately the purchases still save us money by getting rid of the extra cable stuff, right?

Maybe! I mean, if you're in the mood to watch all the Airwolf you can possibly stand! Because not even the PBS Documentaries section of the Netflix Instant Watch program is very stimulating. They better be adding quite a lot more stuff to their instant titles, or I may ask for my money back on this thing. (When it ships. It's been two weeks and we still haven't received the box yet.)
